La dixième édition des Golden Indie Music Awards, cérémonie récompensant la scène musicale indépendante de l’île s’est tenue hier soir du côté de Taipei. Cette cérémonie est toujours un bon indicateur de la vitalité de la scène indie de l’île, et le moins que l’on puisse c’est qu’elle bien vivante et qu’elle déborde de talents.

Les deux vainqueurs de la soirée sont Yuhan Su 蘇郁涵, qui repart avec deux récompenses, dont celle du meilleur album de l’année, malgré la présence de poids lourds dans la sélection (Elephant Gym 大象體操, Eve Ai 艾怡良, Joanna Wang 王若琳 et accusefive 告五人) et le groupe Lilly 百合花, sacré meilleur nouvel artiste et dont le premier album est récompensé du titre de meilleur album rock de l’année. La récompense du meilleur groupe de l’année revient elle sans surprise à l’excellent trio Elephant Gym 大象體操. Parmi les autres lauréats de la soirée, on note une récompense pour  Sam Liao 廖士賢 (Best Songwriter Award 最佳創作歌手獎 ), HUSH (Best Alternative Album Award 最佳另類流行專輯獎), Enno Cheng 鄭宜農 (Best Alternative Song Award 最佳另類流行單曲獎) ou encore YujunWang & TIMEr 王榆鈞與時間樂隊 (Best Folk Album 最佳民謠專輯獎).
